The space contains three districts inspired by football culture in the United Kingdom, France and Argentina. EA says up to 100 players can occupy The Grounds at the same time, and live matches can be watched from the sidelines. That creates a different kind of online experience from a normal menu-driven football game: players can meet people, play smaller games, spectate and recruit potential Club members.
The Grounds is available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2 and PC. It also connects progression to a player's Pro, so time spent in the mode is not completely separate from the wider Clubs experience.
Career Mode gets a more active transfer market
Career Mode receives one of the game's clearest management-focused changes: a rebuilt Transfer Market. Instead of a mostly static buying process, EA says the market now includes active club bidding and more dynamic player values through its TransferRoom integration.
According to EA, player values can reflect factors such as club buying power, potential, ratings and form. Negotiations also add more options, including performance and buy-back clauses. Dynamic OVR ratings are intended to reflect player form, morale and fitness across clubs.

EA says players can build and share custom scenarios through a standalone web portal, while a Manager Live Hub surfaces community-made and curated challenges. That adds an ongoing community layer to Career Mode rather than making each season a completely isolated experience.
Ultimate Team adds the FUT Gallery
Football Ultimate Team remains one of the major pillars of FC 27, but this year's standout addition is the FUT Gallery. EA says players can curate Sets of past and present Player Items across clubs, leagues, nations and FUT campaigns. Completing and grading Sets increases Gallery Level and contributes to the identity of a player's club.
FC 27 also introduces Holographic variants and Hall of FUT Player Items, while Squad Building Challenges receive streamlined exchange features. Single Player Live Events give players another way to engage with Ultimate Team outside traditional competitive matches.
